Alfa Romeo 6C 2300-2500 and 1900 at Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2023

26 Oct. 2023

The 40th edition of Auto e Moto d'Epoca, the most important classic car show in Italy, was held for the first time in Bologna, instead of the usual venue in Padova. Even bigger and better than before, the event saw a lot of Alfa Romeo 6C 2300, 2500 and 1900 on show, here listed with chassis number when possible.

Any help in the identification of the missing cars is welcome!

The oldest, and only VII series 6C 2300, was 710600, a French bodied 4-door pillarless 6C 2300 Turismo, shown in the Trofeo Salvarola Terme stand.

The only two other pre-war cars were 6C 2500 Turismo 913133 from the Righini collection, and the freshly restored 6C 2500 Sport cabriolet by Touring 915146 shown by Registro internazionale Touring Superleggera.

Two 6C 2500 Sport Freccia d'Oro were shown by Righini (916477) and Class srls (unidentified) and two 6C 2500 SS Cabriolet Pinin Farina by Christoph Grohe (915699) and Daniele Turrisi (915783).

The last 6C 2500 were the Sport 4-door sedan by Pinin Farina 917115 (shown by Ital Heritage) and the Gran Turismo 918031 (Registro Alfa Romeo 6C 2500).

A lot of 1900 were shown too. Four sedans: 06601, 08791, 03046 with a Carrera Panamericana livery) and 16015.

Two very similar grey 1900C Sprint coupe Touring (01082 and 01250) were shown by Giovanni Rosi and in the ACI Storico stand.

Following are the 1900C coupé Pinin Farina 01510 and an unidentified berlinetta by Zagato (anyone knows the identity of this one?).

Three more Super Sprint by Touring were shown by Real Art on Wheels (chassis 10464), Metropole Classics (chassis 10081) and Baroni Consulting. I wasn't able to get their chassis number.

Last but not least, two 1900 "Matta", 00398 and 01870.

UPDATE: Thank you to Corrado Bellabarba for the identification of some of the cars
