Three 6C 2500 at Lugano Elegance 2023

06 May 2023

Among the entrant of the 2023 edition of the concours Lugano Elegance, held in the Swiss town on May 6th, three beautiful 6C 2500 have enriched the class C, dedicated to Alfa Romeo.

915135 is a cabriolet by Touring, built in 1943 as part of a series of similar cars for the German Army. This particular car was sold only in 1946 to Sweden, where it was even entered in various ice races. 915135 is also known for being stolen just before the 2018 Mille Miglia, being luckily found the next year.

In Lugano, it received the award for the most documented car.

915545 is a very early cabriolet by Pinin Farina, sold new in August 1947 to Genova.

915884 is the last Villa d'Este ever sold, according to Alfa Romeo records: it was purchased in Paris only in 1954. The car is now owned by Swiss collector Ermanno Keller, who won its class in Lugano, competing for the Best in Show award (won by a Bugatti 57).
