Big Giulietta Sprint ("Giuliettone")?

In Italy, the Tipo4's nickname is "Giuliettone" (large Giulietta) or even "Sprintone" (large Sprint). Even Alfisti, upon coming upon a Tipo4 Super Sprint head-on at a show or concours, have expressed surprise at such a large "Giulietta" Sprint. This confusion is understandable when you compare the fronts of the two cars, especially since the Tipo4 has, historically, been a far less common sight than Giulietta Sprints. That is beginning to change now that 1900s have ascended to collector-car status and are frequently seen at concours and auction events.

Here's a quick reference for anyone anyone who needs to examine the difference and doesn't have an actual vehicle before them. The differences really are subtle. The most revealing difference is the way the Tipo4 "eyebrows" curl away from the scudetto (center grill). On the Giulietta Sprint, this does not happen. The inboard ends of the eyebrows remain parallel to the sides of the scudetto and terminate pointing to the ground. All other variables that you might see could be restoration mistakes, but that curve is unlikely to be added to a Giulietta Sprint and unlikely to be missing from a Tipo4.
